Chando is a resident of New York City. Chando attended Manhattan College before becoming an actor. Chando is best known as the character Maddie Coleman from As the World Rotates, a television soap opera she starred in between 2005 and 2007. She also played it for the second time at the beginning in 2009 for a number of months. Alexandra made her acting debut in 2002 on the TV show House Blend playing the character as Jenna Harper. As the World Turns was the American television soap opera that CBS aired over three years. Maddie Coleman played the character. Chando first appeared on TV in True life (an American documentary) at the end of 2009. Later, in 2009, she appeared in Sherri, a show on TV. Additionally, she was a part of two episodes of the American comedy-drama series Glory Daze as Annabelle. Her credits include Castle, Hindsight Dead People and Outcast.
