Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22, 1984, at New York City New York. She is an American singer/actress whose range has gained her recognition across a range of types of films ranging from thrillers and adventures to period films. Johansson daughter of an architect as well as a producer was raised within New York City. Hunter was twins with her younger sister. When she was a kid she started acting. In fact, by the age of 7 she was already auditioning for commercials in a variety of different ways. Soon after she enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and afterwards attended the Professional Children's School in Manhattan to further hone her craft. In the year she turned eight old, Johansson appeared alongside Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in an Off-Broadway musical. And at age nine she made her acting debut in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson was later seen in Just Cause (1995) but her breakthrough was Manny & Lo (1996) which was a film about orphaned sisters who run away. The Horse Whisperer (2000) the film in which she played a teenager with a deformity because of an accident earned her critical acclaim. In Ghost World 2001 (as the teenager who is a cynical outcast Rebecca) Johansson received even more recognition. She has experience as a actor on stage, in addition to performing on the show. Her performances were stunning in Wildflower and in other productions. Renee Felice Smith entered the realm of entertainment at a very early age. At the age of a young girl, she became interested in acting. Smith landed the first of many acting jobs when she was just 6. Smith was in a television commercial for Dannon yogurt. As with many actresses who started out, she decided to perfect her craft in the world of theater. In addition, she worked on other initiatives across the USA and Canada, but Wildflower was her debut on stage production. She graduated from the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
